Gerry Eastman Studds (May 12, 1937 – October 14, 2006) (pronounced /ˈgɛɹi/, hard g as in get, rhymes with merry) was an American Democratic Congressman from Massachusetts who served from 1973 until 1997. He was the first openly gay national politician in the U.S. In 1983, he admitted to having had an affair with a 17-year-old page in 1973 and was censured by the House of Representatives.
No way am I defending Senator Craig and his situation however we don't know exactly what happened and seeing as there's an extremely important election coming in 08 I put nothing past the Democrats pulling any and all kinds of their shananigans to get into the White House as if they had a very slim chance. All Democrats and the lib media right away as predicted leaped right onto Senator Craig and his alleged lewd bathroom situation yet once again they continue to ignore one of their own the late Congressman Gerry Studds who like Barney Frank was openly gay only he admitted to having sex with a 17 year old page.
